Are you using an embedded app on the TV or off of a device like a Fire Stick? I was using embedded Samsung apps off of the TV and the performance was terrible, switched to a FireStick and performance is much improved and typically glitch-free.

Probably shite tons of people got rokus, appletvs, etc for Christmas and they are bogged down
