Are we overreacting?

We are 5-10 in a weak division. We have won 3 of last 4 games (all who aren’t very good). A new QB who has played fairly decent.
Shough isn’t our savior yet. We have O line and D line issues.
Let’s wait until we play a full year with Shough at the helm and see how our draft goes before we think we on our way to the Super Bowl.
But I am very proud of the team for not giving up and meshing well with Shough. Still a long road to compete.

This is a bad roster. For a rookie to look at good as he does with his surrounding cast bodes well for the future.

And we've beaten the top 2 teams in our division 3 times since the rookie took over
All you need to do to get to the playoffs is win your division... which is back within reach starting next season

As I said in another thread... we're quite a few pieces away from a deep playoff run
But winning this weak division,making the playoffs, & playing a home game in the playoffs is within reach next year

Nope. No overreaction.
The guy is in firm control of an NFL offense and throwing to a mash unit of receivers with a terrible line and, what, 4th string running back?
He has shown total poise in the pocket, has one of the best 3rd down completion percentages in the NFL, and isn’t scared to get hit.
I’m fully on board the Shough Wagon.
Next year is gonna be a badass year for Louisiana football fans.
(I’m also on the Lane Train)
