Recommendation for French Drain Repair?

Looking for an honest assessment on a likely cracked pipe.

Time permitting, especially if you know where damage is,it’s a DIY project. Excavate the area, cut out damaged section, replace with corrugated and perforated pipe, splice into existing pipe with catch basins. Use large aggregate backfill.
Apple Drains has a great YouTube channel that will at least be able to steer you in the right direction, if not fully fixing yourself

Last response is accurate. You will have to dig out the damaged section.
There are more options. basins are one, as he stated. If you have ADS/NDS (IE black corrugated) pipe, they do make external couplers. Very easy, FERNCO couplers are overkill, but another option.
No matter what you do, be sure to wrap all joints in some geotextile fabric. Water getting in is good. Soils getting in is bad.
