16 team playoff
No auto bids
BCS rankings
First 2 rounds on campus
Re-seed after round 1
Abolish conference championship games
Army-Navy game moved to Thanksgiving weekend
Start the playoffs the first weekend in December and finish new years weekend

Give 5 years eligibility.
You get one free transfer.
After that you sit a year.

I like a lot of this, but I would add no conference set-asides either. I also have no issues with the CFP and suspect they use the BCS simulations as part of their decision-making process.

Championship games will disappear on their own if they start to hurt teams from conferences that have them. Conferences would dig their heels in if a playoff committee tried to tell them what to do.

Army-Navy is a tradition; you could still start the games the week after and have the semis on New Year's and the Championship the week after.

Player contracts are probably coming.

BCS/CFP comparison, 1-8 are identical, 9-12 are the same teams in a different order, 13-16 are the same 4 teams in a different order. It looks this way every year.
