Extra characters showing up in posts (Edge/Firefox)?

I’m seeing a glitch when posting from desktop browsers. In Edge, punctuation/quotes add stray characters like t?t?t?. Example:
Let's talk a little HECM!ECM!
On iPhone Safari, posts display normally.
