I’m here now..young bucks acting like juveniles with high testosterone (pre-rut)…also saw 3-4 year buck trying to hemm up dear…it’s fixing to happen…

Good to hear. Looking at the weather for the weekend, hoping Saturday morning is good before it warms up. Will be there for the youth lottery.

Ruts are bell curves..a few does in heat… then more, then maximum at one time ..then down the backside of the bell curve slope…
The top of bell curve…a week best….the whole bell curve…3 weeks…
There’s does in woods now in heat…. Not many…
There’s also some straggler that fall on next cycle…. Ala late fawns born in August

Last couple of years I’ve seen bucks chasing does during turkey season.
