Was it known that Charlie Weiss would coach OM in the CFP when he came to BR?

I thought that didn’t happen until a few days later? Golding saying it’s always been that Weiss would coach CFP.

Does Weis have a contract signed with LSU? Had multiple disputes about it with Ole Miss fans on X.

He’s also saying that. Weiss will decide after the season if he wants to coach at LSU or Ole Miss again. It’s just him spouting the “company” line.

I get him coaching OM but I don’t think he should be able to decide for real to stay there it come here after they win or lose … and I don’t think he should have ever come if he’s not 100% going to be here in 2026.
Again what I think doesn’t matter but being played would suck.
