I’ve watched several North Texas games this season and the two games I watched where the defense got pressure on Mestemaker he turned the ball over multiple times. Talented kid but I wouldn’t bank on him being elite in the SEC

Being better than what LSU has now is a piss poor standard to uphold. There will be plenty of options for Lane in the portal, including QBs who have played stronger competition in stadiums that hold more than Texas HS stadiums.
