So when does the portal open where it will be known who may be available at QB?

They will announce that they plan to enter the portal before the portal's officially open

Sorry, I don't keep up with the rules very much. Can the players reach out to schools or is there no contact allowed until everything is open? Just wondering if LSU could have someone in mind and when could they start contacting.

Unless the kids wants to take visits in which case I could be wrong , but i believe transfers have an unlimited number of visits they can take. Compared the the 5 that highschool guys are allotted.
