Did he not sign a contract? Articles are out saying he signed for 3 years, $6 million.
If that's true, how in the world can he go to Ole Piss and coach their offense? I thought no coaches from another team would be allowed to coach for them.
Now, their people keep saying they are hoping he is returning to Ole Piss full-time, they are hoping to sign him to a contract after the playoffs. WTF? What is the true story and how the hell can this be allowed to happen?

This is what I thought, too. But, he is in their building right now while under contract with us. At least that is what we have been told.

I realize that, but none of those other schools cried about these coaches being allowed to stay and coach. Only Ole Piss did. He couldn't be allowed to be there anymore.

You do realize you can sign a contract with an employer that does not start immediately right? Tell me you haven’t signed a contract for an important job without telling me lol. You don’t just become somebody else’s property as soon as you sign the contract, there is usually a start date.

Charity. No matter what the media says, lane still cares about ole miss players. Think is the right thing to do. Lane didn't screw ole miss. NCAA screwed ole miss. I have never heard of a former coach going back to help out. Other wise ole miss would be screwed..

OM AD Carter showing what a huge hypocrite he is regarding Weis Jr v LK. Both are now LSU coaches but it's ok with the AD if Weis coaches but not LK. Personally I'm glad as LK needs to be here team building. But it's a Carter double standard.

Probably built into his LSU contract that allows him to coach Ole Miss for the playoffs only. What doesn’t make sense to me is why is Ole Miss allowing Coach Weiss to coach the playoffs, but Coach Kiffin is not allowed to coach Ole Miss for the playoffs.

idk if they think they can poach him or if they are willing to swallow their pride for an OC to try and win some playoff games but not a HC

Are you serious? He is listed as the LSU OC right now. Same as LK is the HC. By your premise, could LK not have signed a deal with LSU with a start date which would be effective at the end of OM CFP run and then stay to coach OM, the same as he was allowed to do for the Egg Bowl? Come on. Be real now.

Slim, that is my point exactly! OM has shown themselves to be hypocrites! "Lane is so toxic, he sucks!", they say. It is so bad. They have trashed him on social media with horrible accusations; yet, they had a massive contract extension on his desk a few days ago, did they not? "Money was not an issue", they kept saying. Am I wrong?

If by listed you mean his name is on the LSU sports website? That doesn’t guarantee that this person is currently under contract and likely was put up early for recruits anyway.
They could have certainly made a contract for Lane Kiffin to start after the playoffs but Ole Miss would have never agreed to that clearly.
