Just think about what's transpired over the last few months.
We had a coach that everyone absolutely hated and was not bought in on. However we were looking at 6 1/2 more years and over $50MM to get through before we could make a switch.
Most schools, bite that bullet and ride it out. At least another few years.
Not us. As soon as things got crystal clear that Kelly wasn't going to ever get us where we need to be, we pulled the plug. Ripped the bandaid right off. DIdn't wait till the end of the season. Didn't wait till the buyout went down. We just did it. That is rare.
Then, we set our sights on the top candidate in the coaching carousel, the one everyone wants and in a year a ton of high profile jobs are all looking for their next guy.
And what do we do? Everything we needed to do to get him. Kiffin said himself we told him everything he wanted to hear.
Most schools, wouldn't do that. Like Florida, going after another g5 hire. Or Penn State still trying to find ANYONE. Or Auburn, taking a coach with only a few years experience.
We've now got a coach that understands the importance of LA recruiting, the portal, and a competent staff around him.
All we do is take big swings. Even when we miss, it is a fricking rollercoaster ride to follow this program and I absolutely love it.

Get what you're saying, but hopefully stability is right around the corner. Hate these coaching changes, too much uncertainty.

Our fan experience is a shell of the past. Last 7 years.
Let’s turn it around with lane and make the valley shake again
