Lane should leave the defensive staff for the mist part intact.

If Baker doesn’t get a HC job somewhere like Tulane he and most of his staff should come back. This saves LSU to paying more buyouts for outgoing coaches and lets Lane focus all his attention on fixing the offense. They were effective and Baker is a great recruiter along with Corey Raymond. If they want to bring O back in some capacity I’m happy with that but I don’t see an upgrade out there over Baker.

Makes it equally impressive when you realize that because the offense was so inept it kept the defense on the field a lot. They have like an 80% stop rate which is like 8th in the country.
