I know there is a lot of drama going on around Kiffin, but the basketball squad was impressive in wins over Drake and Depaul. I know these wins are not Uconnish, or Dukeish, but the Tigers were impressive. Very athletic bunch with a strong presence in the post, as well as depth in the post. Good guards who can shoot it as well. No, we won't win the SEC, but I can see this team getting 8 or 9 SEC wins this year. Great start Tigers

This team would trounce his previous 3 teams. They have size, depth and SEC talent PG. very deep at all positions. Excited to see what they can do next 2 weeks.

They have 3 December games of note:
— at Boston College (currently 4-4) on Wednesday for the SEC-ACC Challenge (84.6% LSU per ESPN matchup predictor)
— vs No 20 Texas Tech (currently 5-2) in Fort Worth (54.9% TT) on Dec 7
— and vs SMU (currently 8-0) in New Orleans )58.4% LSU) on Dec 13

They have a real chance to enter SEC play 12-1

Those December games will tell us a lot. Shooting efficiency has been off the charts so far this year. Their defense has been lights up on the interior, as well as perimeter defense. Transition defense has been solid as well. When you come off the bench with players like Reed and Williams, that is good stuff.
