The ole miss rivalry will be electric moving forward

This rivalry just reached a different level of personal. Theirs no goin back from poaching their head coach despite going 11-1 run and on the verge of the playoffs. Next year’s game in Oxford will legit be entering a lions den I can’t wait.

Yes, and A&M comes here again next year to balance that. New 9-game scheduling format starts next season. So the back-to-back visits for these is a scheduling quirk of the transition.
It’s not uncommon when the league starts a new scheduling format. Bama came here in ‘91 and ‘92, and Ole Miss came here in ‘01 and ‘02. Think we went to Ole Miss in ‘91 and ‘92, and Kentucky in ‘01 and ‘02 to compensate.
