The absolute last time you should try under center first time is 4th and 2 end of game

Just doing the exact opposite of what you should do. I’d prefer downfield passing every down with a run mixed in. But short screens has and never will work. Got to pass down field past the chains.

Yep. Gave them even more time to read a play that was already easy to stop.

If you watch the replay, they actually had it blocked fairly well. Could’ve been a first down, but they instead run the PA to throw to Bauer Sharp running a route parallel to the line to gain.
