Wade fishing - north Amite River (St. Helena parish), Tangi River (North of Independence}

Trying to plan some new spots in the summer to go along with surf fishing at Elmer's.
Are these too deep to walk and cast? I know floating the Tangi is pretty productive, didn't know if it was worth trying to wade up river? I've got access to both.
I also have access to the Tangi up near Osyka if that would be a better option.
Thanks in advance for any advice

Yea in spots your not gonna be able to walk, but you need to check because you’ll likely be trespassing on somebody’s property if your walking. Better to float just to be sure in Springtime.

I'm a short wade from where I can put in, to where it meets the Amite. I'll check it out, thank you.
