Texas Stadium.

Lip sync Scott Stapp.

The guitars probably weren't even plugged in...

But who gives a shite...

Anyone who did not experience the late 90s and early aughts.... You're welcome.

Creed got shite on for no other reason that it was "cool" to shite on Creed.

They were a really good band who had some absolute bangers

Wasn’t Scott Stapp a well known arse home at the time which didn’t help?

Every strip club in this country had "Higher" in heavy rotation for a while there.

I'm an '80's kid and always say 1984 was peak America, but I might move it back a bit for this time frame.

Their production value was insane. One of the best sounding album mixes you'll hear on their first two albums.

Mark Tremonti was the sound of the band and great. . Their bass and drums were as heavy as any mainstream band of the era. Stapp just killed their reputation.

They were also a fringe Christian band, so they took undue amounts of shite from the mainstream press.

I’m now a married, boring suburban dad so I don’t mind saying this…

But Creed rocks. I still frick with Creed and probably will introduce it to my son at some point.

I can’t say that I have, good lad.

Boosie generally stays out of strip clubs.

Creed was an objectionably harder and edgier and better band than Nikelback, which was a pop soft band.

Creed lyrics dealt with pretty dark stuff at times. Legit, if they didn't have Stapp as their frontman, they would have been regarded as very cool.

Nikelback was not in any way like that.
