Think if these buyouts could be used for player pay

LSU spends a lot of money buying out coaching contracts. If just some of that money could be used for NIL/players, LSU would have a lot stronger team.
It is unfortunate that having a poor record and poor game performance is not "cause." There aren't many jobs (corporate CEO is one, coaching in college is one) where you get big money payouts when you perform poorly.
