Blocked kick hit an OL’s helmet, projected forward beyond the line of scrimmage by a foot, touched by Saints, recovered by Carolina.

That rules needs to be changed

There was no change of possession
The ball never crossed the line to gain for a first
That rule 100% only benefits the team who has a kick blocked

It was well short of a first down.

Right— Saints never had possession and not a first down on recovery so ball turned over on downs anyway- refs fricked that up.
