The best option for the new coach is to clean shop

And bring in his own team. We will lose some key recruits but in his day of NIL, it's not hard to rebuild. All this maintaining continuity BS is no longer relevant.

Players adapt to the new coaching staff or they can find a place elsewhere

We have the right pieces in place. It doesn’t need to be a total rebuild. The right guy can turn this thing around pretty easily

Talking of the coaching staff. Players can stay or go. We don't have to keep coaches just cause they have a relationship with current or prospective players

i think Frank and Raymond make too much sense

too many local inroads even in the NIL age you can’t ignore

Money may be 90% of it but people do regularly take pay cuts to but in the right environment

I used to think that these two must be retained at all costs, but I don't feel that way anymore. NIL is all about who can pay more. Recruiting has taken a back seat. Besides, the running backs have been terrible the past two years. Maybe move Wilson to an off the field role, but whomever the new coach is needs to have total autonomy over his staff.
