Lowering of QB hips...

My thought is if the QB is down when he begins to lower his hips, than if he is 'touched' by a defensive player, it is a personal foul.

AND Jayden Daniels would have finished several Van Buren runs...

Last night was the first time I had ever heard of the “lowering of the hips” rule. What an idiotic basis to judge when a player is down. Just stick with when the knee or elbow hits the turf. It’s worked for a long time.
