Atchafalaya River, Whiskey Bay intel

Has anyone been on the river or pilot channel recently near I-10 (butte larose area) and know if there may be any sandbars currently, suitable for camping?
Want to take my kids camping somewhere this weekend and know the river is low but haven’t been on it since this summer and only went down river and don’t recall any sandbars going south.

There are several sanbars south of myette point, and they have a campground right by the landing
