He first endorsed Eric Adams, then when he pulled out he put his weight behind Cuomo.
His hope was his name with the moderates lack of trust in Mamdani would be enough to get them over the hump. But sadly that was not enough.

Several major cities have crossed the rubicon that those wanting your money outnumber those wanting to keep their money. This problem is exacerbated by many of the men wanting to keep their money also wanting to frick crazy women.
