Currently in process of planning a trip to Cabo. Quivara has been on my bucket list since I read about it in magazine a few years back. Putting a graduation trip together to finally play it. Looking at staying at Pueblo bonito Pacifica, wife seems happy with all non golf amenities.
This board is typically well traveled so looking for advice. Anyone done a similar trip? Any feedback on that resort (should I look at other options)? How about other courses in the area, or should I play Quivara twice? Any and all input is appreciated. Thanks in advance

If you already got Quivara on the books, I would go play Palmilla. They have 27 holes. I knew it was in and out of a renovation last time I was down there so want to check on that.

Quivera is like the pebble beach of Mexico i would play it twice. Just my opinion.

I've been twice and stayed at Pacifica. I did twilight at Quivira both times; little less money and less crowded. Could go at my own pace and take it all in. Beautiful place. Shot 76 year 2 from the blacks. I was pleased. Have fun!!! Can't wait to go back

I've played: Quivira, Cabo Del Sol (Ocean & Desert), and Cabo Real
Honestly, Quivira blows the rest away and I would play that one multiple times. It's #1 on my all-time list

Solmar Golf Links is the only one that I've played, and it was very nice! Ocean views on just about every hole.

Just got back from Cabo yesterday, but only played 2 rounds. I would avoid Palmilla. Not very good shape, but interesting holes. One and Only bought18 of the 27 holes, but it keeps going downhill.
I didn't play Quivera this time, but I have in the past and it was fantastic. Great holes and we did see it from our fishing boat on Saturday.
We played Diamante the Dunes Course on Sunday and it was an outstanding track. The final round of the PGA tournament, World Wide Tech Championship, was being played at Diamante on the El Cardonal (Tiger Woods design) course while we were there (right next to us). The Dunes course was in great condition, great holes and the service was top notch. I would definitely recommend it. We had a connnection and only paid $240, but I think the regular price is $500 for the green fee (comfort sations included).
I've played Querencia golf club in the past, but it is a private club Fazio design. Might be hard to get on. Top notch as well. Cabo Real is a nice track, but I haven't played it in several years. We didn't play it this time.
My nephew played El Dorado on Saturday and loved it. I hope this helps. Weather was fantastic (high 84 and low 74) with no clouds and very little wind (although the wind does tend to increase during the afternoon). We also saw a lot of whales from our house near the One & Only in Palmilla and on our fishing trip. Overall - great trip. I hope this helps.
