Nocpix Thermal Scope

Been pondering the idea of getting a thermal scope for some short range (~100yds) hog hunting a few times a year at the lease. Seems Pulsar gets lots of love here, and a friend has a Thermion 2 XQ50. He recently picked up and Nocpix Slim l35, and says it was cheaper and clearer than the Pulsar. I haven't heard much about them, so wanted to see if anyone here had any opinions.

I'm sure the Pulsar is clearer than my Iray Bolt, but I'm hunting 10-20 times per year and my bolt was half the price and I've been very happy with it so far.

Iray owns or is some way affiliated with nocpix. I have a iray RH50r that I like on my AR platform (12" 6.5 grendel) and have read good things about the nocpix lineup. I have not looked through a pulsar in person so cant compare.
