I know this is obvious, but damn it, it needs to happen!

We have to hit a grand slam on this next hire… it has to be a Jay Johnson/Kim Mulkey type of hire. I hope to God they don’t settle!
The current state of LSU football is not sustainable… we can’t be looking for coaches every 3-4 years. We need a longtime hire this go around.

LSU settled with Kelly. AD could not get anybody else to come.

That’s the thing, you don’t know who’s going to be home run or not.
People like to rewrite history now that Jay has 2 tittles but a lot of people thought we “settled” when we hired him.
I agree we do need a home run hire. But we may not know it’s a home run when the name is announced.
