on Sunday, to round out the dismal performances of the top two football programs in South Louisiana, the saints, after the tigers' pathetic excuse for football exhibited on Saturday, displayed a brand of football we local observers call: "slow and weak"...

Saints were picked to finish between 30-32. Tigers were picked to compete for a championship. They are not the same.

All in all its an ok season. Because it will lead to something.

Whole revamp of the roster
Draft a QB at some point
Get younger and cheaper

Where as the last 2 years was pretending to compete with Dennis Allen. We are no longer pretending.

Its an evaluation year and many fans dont want to hear it even though they have been bitching about a rebuild for years
