Spare me the BS of him hiring Kim and JJ. Both sports lose money. Football is the flagship sport at LSU. Woodward brought the shitshow to LSU. He spends money like a drunken sailor after being out to sea for a year. His arse should be fired immediately if not sooner. I would gladly toss his fat arse off the Mississippi River bridge and let him float to Venice!
Unfortunately, it will take a while to fix this. There needs to be a house cleaning from top to bottom, and it needs to be restored by real LSU people. Those who see and bleed purple and gold. Not just looking for a retirement nest egg!

Woodward’s only play is to overpay guaranteed contracts. That’s the only reason he has hit on 2 of his 4 coaches. We were the only AD dumb enough to overpay in non revenue generating sports.

This is a silly and lazy argument. It is not fair to judge Woodward with hindsight which is always 20-20. Judge him by what he had in front of him at the time of the hire. We had to get rid of Coach O because the shite show he caused after the magic season. The big name everyone was saying was a "can't miss" was Lincoln Riley, who really had no interest in LSU and was given the kingdom at USC. The hire of Kelly looked to be a huge coup and a great hire. Notre Dame had never had a coach leave to coach another college program. The only issue people had at the time was the cost and duration of the hire, which by today's standards, is not an unreasonable amount for a top tier coach.

He is single handedly the worse AD in all of sports. He is soley responsible for the 2 largest buyouts in the history of college football.
If he were the CEO of a company and made 2 horrific investments like that, shareholders would have sent him packing with swiftness.

One could argue that Napier was the better hire, because he was over 50% cheaper and you didn’t have to marry him

He made a bad hire, which isn't usually a problem, unless you give them a guaranteed 10 year 100 million contract. He gambled his future on BK and he lost. Both must go.
