Can we please get an /ignore poster function...

IRC chat and other forums/boards/rooms have had this forever since mid-90s.
The easy answer is don't open a topic or poster on TD. But that shite does not work, even when you try to avoid, you can't.
They just make sure you see them.

I asked for a mod (not me) on MTV and nothing happened.
Same poster was voted worst poster on MTV almost unanimously just a few months ago. You can't avoid his posts if you want to engage in discussion.
So now, asking for an ignore function is also get over it?
How about /ignore so I don't need to filter through worst poster on TD MTV?
It's my problem? I don't think I'm the problem.
