We only have 16 commits. He must think portal again. I do not like this. I think the back bone of your program should be developing young players and Portal is for filling in some holes. Not bringing 20 guys in from the portal.

Problem is the fact that mercenaries are of greater value to many programs instead of high school players. The problem with mercenaries is program loyalty while a hs kid may actually want to be at his chosen school.

They expect most of the under class man to stay, considering they are in the 2 deep next yr. Portal will be less active this year, since less holes to fill... at least from roster depth perspective. And as stands today.. keep losing and maybe that changes more. Shall see.

I'm also hoping guys from the portal like pyburn, cooley, Florida cb, atm te green, are people who come back for sr yrs, since none are really having big nfl years. Cooley probably having the best year. That way you aren't adding those positions from the portal. Depth was sustained with the hs and portal grab this year. Thus the smaller class.

Well of course they only have 16 commits nobody wants to come play for this shite show. Watch by the end of the season with 3 to 4 more losses we will have less than 16 committed. The bad part about it BK probably want have the money he had last year to pull 20 players from the portal.

Speaking of JUCO! I don’t understand for the life of me why we don’t try to get 2 or 3 players from JUCO at maybe OL, TE, or RB! We’ve had some good luck in the past with them! Plus I’m seeing more and more teams doing really well with JUCO players recently! #LSU4LIFE
