You may be right. I have more faith in Jay Johnson coaching the football team than I do in BK. Jay is a damn elite coach. He’s a generational coach like Saban. Hell, maybe we could convince Saban to coach LSU football

Lanning had to wait 3 years for the Oregon job and he turned down several in that time. They had the top defense in college football and won titles with him as DC.
Baker is on a fast rise, but he’s not there yet. It’s going to be another year or two before he gets a top P4 offer. A Tulane offer is worrisome just because he’s an alum, but I think they are about to be eclipsed by both Memphis and USF in the coming years. Both have and spend more money and have far better facilities and bigger alumni bases.
