Major League Rugby coming back for 2026

The existing thread appears to be locked, otherwise I would've posted this there.
I guess the remaining (4?) teams are planning to continue, and they're looking for new ownership groups and partnerships.
But it kind of looks like the last Sabrecats update, that focus will be on developing youth for USA Rugby.

The sport is thriving in the sevens format - but participation at all levels in the 15s format has been flagging for a bit.
Professional teams in rugby playing nations aren't doing all that well, either.
