I’ve had my turntable 10 years now and every record plays at 33, I got a new ZZTOP LIVE ALBUM and ONLY one side of the 4 sides in the album plays very slow and slurred at that speed
When I play it at 45, it’s fine
Is this normal

That's nuts. I've never owned that particular album, so I don't know if that's normal.
Considering how things were back then, it may be intentional and all of them were that way.
Then again there may have been a batch that were messed up and made it past quality control. It's worth looking into, might make it valuable to collectors.

Meh... he's been on the loose quite a while.

It’s an old album (ZZ TOP LIVE IN GERMANY, 1980), but it’s definitely a brand new pressing, never been played, the vinyl and the album case are in perfect condition

would have to look up the album and see , but at 45 speed it should sound better.when you move the needle over a vinyl record faster, more sound information registers on it, which means that it sounds clearer and less muddy, because the higher frequencies can be heard clearer. so I guess it was mastered that way for only one side

I looked all over the album very close and didn’t see anything about the speed

Play it backwards and it will be regular speed. All seriousness, I'm 59 years old and have never heard an album do that. Like someone else suggested, it's probably some kind of defect and you in fact have a collectible specimen. I'd research the hell out of that.
