With Wiegman & Marcel Reed…

Their offense was anemic until Reed provided a spark

Except Wiegman was always bad while Nuss showed he can carry a team last year with no run game even with his flaws.

Yeah, against a good defensive team. He's not remotely similar to Wiegman who even with a run game was horrible.

This whole situation just sucks because we know Nuss can play better. Everyone scrambling for an answer, posting conspiracy theories, when the truth might just be that Nuss has regressed because he didn't put in the work. Who knows, but watching the offense right now makes me want to vomit.

If BK benches Nuss for the backup his coaching career is done at LSU. If he does and Nuss draft stock drops he will look like a fool when he’s drafted 3rd round or so and has a competent HC and OC who puts in a situation to be successful.

BK had nothing to do with JD or Nuss success in college. He is simply a bystander. BK may go down as one of the worst coaching hires ever at LSU.

I’m no fan of CBK but you’re delusional if you think he did nothing to help JD5 or Nuss.

Carry the team? Lucky we were not 6-6 last season.

It’s Sloan. Not on QBs.

As long as Sloan is calling plays, none of it matters

Sloan is calling plays to attempt to protect a turnover machine.

When you’re top 5 in passing attempts and 2nd to last in rushing, what do you expect. Mvb is not reed.

With our defense, a hurt nuss should’ve still beat ole miss but we can’t run the ball. We ain’t going far with Sloan and this run scheme

the back up QB is always the Messiah. Usually till he gets to play. Then most often not after that.

4-7 is his record against ranked teams while at LSU if I am remembering correctly. That’s enough there to realize he’s underperforming.

If BK sticks with Nuss and they don't make the playoffs, he is also done.

LSU is not a championship caliber team. Last year and this year’s WR group is bad. Opening game against Clemson you could see it. Nuss is constantly having to tell them where to lineup.

You can win a championship with a great defense and an average offense.

Nuss is not going to get any better than what he has shown. MVB can be the spark the offense needs. Only one way to find out.
