Question regarding renting infant car seat through Car Rental

We will be traveling this month with our 10 month old and looking to rent his car seat through our car rental. It’s an add on option for $15 a day but is it a decent quality car seat? This would save us a hassle of bringing his car seat with us

Yes, they are solid car seats. Usually GRACO in my experience. We've done it twice, through Avis, and both times they went back to the storage office and had to unpack / unwrap the car seat... so we were the first to use it
ETA: they are going to be decent car seats if you rent from one of the major rental car companies, but they won't be "fancy" top of the line car seats.

Okay great! I don’t need fancy top of the line. I just wasn’t sure if it was like expired ones or something lol. We’re renting through National at the airport

We rented through Hertz last month and they gave us a brand new, in the box seat. Had to spend 15 minutes in the garage putting it together
