The fact that Janzen Jackson sent his paper work to Tenn the day before NSD and secretly committed on his visit to Tenn earlier says alot about his lack of character. More importantly it says more about his parents. His parents should take lessons from Michael Ford and Russell Shepard's parents when it comes to showing character.

Jackson sounds like he has big ego problems. He can say whatever he wants, but in Miles vernacular "his want for attention" is a little much. He was being cute and going to LSU did not allow any cuteness.

He lacks character, but so do many others. I wish him no harm and I wish him no success. May he tread water in mediocrity and stay healthy while doing so. More likely he will be a good player on a bad team and go to the Pros sooner than later. whatever...

Let it go. LSU football is BIGGER than ONE star athlete. You guys act like LSU will suck for years to come because some frickin kid didn't sign with us.

Nope but to be screwed by a local boy in your backyard without provacation or reason or a Curtis involved is something not seen in a while.

I don't want to be screwed by any boy in anyone's yard, provoked or not, so I understand the anger.

Well stated. I agree completely.

Although I don't believe in it, it looks a lot like quick karma.

Once again, Miles was more than patient with DB. He had 2 years to get qualified and couldn't do it.

When will it stop? You are further proving the sterotypical assessments made around the nation about USC fans...........whiny little bitches with a fashion sense......

Jesus, give it up already.

This is being blown way way out of proportion. The kid changed his mind... the kid needed to consult with his parents. No malice was intended. Do you really think there was malice. He intended to come to LSU for a long time... do you really think he was trying to stick LSU. Doesn't make sense. He was just trying to do what is best for him. Les Miles indirectly is to blame. The coaching changes on the LSU defense is what created the opening.

Not saying these new coaches were wrong only that they should have been hired a year earlier.

A lot goes on behind the scenes. Example do you really think Benton to Auburn was out of the blue. Yes it was last minute but not out of the blue. Don't you think it is strange that he just so happens to have taken a visit to Auburn. For whatever reason something was going on and it wasn't a new development.

None of us will ever know the entire story with either probably. So condeming a kid when we don't know all the facts isn't right.

Once again, Miles did not find out about his academic issues two days ago. He knew about them last week when he reiterated that he wanted DB.

Maybe. But, what bothers me more is when a punk comes out wearing LSU gear and switches to Bama gear when he announces. If you change your mind, fine, it's your decision. But, rubbing it in the face of the coaches that recruited you, with honest and hard effort, leaving them in the lurch, and the fans....for whatever that's worth.... I have a hard time letting that go.

USC fan, how in the world do you know what and when Coach Miles knows things? Geez, I guess being a USC fan means you're clairvoyant. Puh-leze leave our Board and get your boosters to buy some more houses for the parents of your recruits!

Yeah, Miles has been waiting for more than 18 mos for him to qualify. I guess he had not checked on whether he is making progress until the night before NSD.
