Lennox Thermostat

Almost five years ago, my Dad started building a cabin in another state. I knew little of the process. Didn’t know the contractor or anything. In 23 he passed away and as the only child I was left to finish it out. At the time it was about 65% finished.
About a month ago we passed final inspection and everything seems to be working fine, however I can’t seem to get the Lennox thermostats to come on. Power is on, breakers are hot…and to make matters worse, I don’t know who he purchased the system from.
Someone told me I had to download an app to my phone.
If anyone could help me out it would be greatly appreciated. I’ve watched several YouTube videos but still can’t figure it out.

Do you have 24v power to the thermostat?

Most system manufacturers have a relatively limited number of companies that install their brand for a given area. I would try to figure out the company that did the install.

Unsure but the electric passed final inspection.
These thermostats don’t have external switches. It’s all touch screen….so until I can get them to power up I’m out of luck

Do they have batteries in them? I had to replace mine last night.

If they do, I can’t find where they go…and I can’t find a YT video that talks about batteries.

On mine, you pull the face strait off and the batteries go in it.

I have a Lennox unit as well and mine works in this way too. If the batteries haven’t been changed in 5 years, you certainly need to change them. Might have never been installed.

I've pulled the face off but I can't see a slot for batteries. With that said, I'm not very mechanically inclined. I've had other people look also and can't seem to find a slot for batteries.

Have you checked the breakers?
What’s the model number for the thermostat?

That thermostat doesn’t seem to have batteries.
I’d try turning the power off for a few minutes then back on and see if it comes on.
Also could be the drain pan switch

Your inside unit will probably have one or two float switches. If they sense water backing up, they shut the unit off. They can be defective or go bad just like anything else. One will be in the pan, another could be in a pvc pipe coming from the bottom of the unit.

My new home came with them, called my A/C guy, said they were junk. Replaced them around a year or two in the house.

I had Lennox unit installed a few years back and the AC folks installed the basic Honeywell with my new Lennox unit without asking!

We replaced all three with new Honeywell’s. No problems.

If you haven't gotten a solution yet this may or may not help.
I also inherited a lennox system a while back and the way this particular system was setup only allowed for Lennox thermostats because of the way the thermostat communicated with the unit. I found this out the hard way when I tried to install a Nest or one of the smart thermostats and it did not work at all. This was like 6 years ago.
Anyway, just throwing it out there that it could be an issue if the thermostat not properly communicating with the unit as that is something proprietary for Lennox.
What is the specific problem when you say you can't get it to come on? Like it won't even power up?
