First Brands auto parts manufacturer declares bankruptcy - LINK
This follows Tricolor subprime auto lender bankruptcy last week - LINK
This as auto loan delinquencies rise to 20-year highs - LINK
Could it be that we are about to see some kind of contagion that is going to affect the financial system coming out of the auto lending market? Seems possible.

I feel like cars or more specifically trucks are in the same stage as iPhones
There’s nothing they can really improve upon them and the more stuff they add for fuel efficiency or whatever just makes it worse

take away the mandatory restrictions on emissions for diesel engines...and gas for that matter.
make vehicles without electric windows, basic radio, no bells and whistles...people still want them but those are pretty standard items that raise the costs of new vehicles
