I don't know if it's the pressure during the game, his old age, stubbornness or if he's just not smart enough:

Exhibit A - Clemson game, going for it on 4th down with seconds before halftime and no timeouts instead of kicking the field goal, and even if they got the first down they'd only have enough time for a field goal.
Exhibit B - The offsides penalties setting us up at the 1-yard line during the XP, and not going for two.
Exhibit C - No adjustment to 3-man rush. He can't even consider the fact that putting in a running QB like MVB would force Kiffin to adjust.

One of the worst in-game coaches we've had, zero adaptability or flexibility to the situation.

He old baw, he oldschool baw and he has a guaranteed contract (to a certain extent) and already has forever wealth money.

SO um yeah, why does he need to think that quickly on his feet?

The moment from the Ole Miss game that sent me into a spiral was when we let 40 seconds come off the clock on 4th and 1 with 6 minutes left and then Nuss called a timeout. So we lost 40 seconds of game time and 40 seconds from losing a timeout that we really needed to stop the clock on defense. Naturally, Ole Miss was then able to drain the clock on the ensuing drive because we just wasted 80 seconds.
