3 down lineman with 8 dropped in coverage for OM..Auburn did this in 2019 and it worked for the 1st half. Difference with having a competent OC - 2019 we started running Clyde off tackle for chunk yards..even a bad OL can run block double teaming the DL. OM has a terrible run defense. This game no adjustment. handing the ball off 5 yards deep and with no downhill attack isn’t working. The 1 time we did, Berry scores a TD. At least he attacks the line. 2pt conversion - terrible call either way - but why take out the one RB that runs downhill and just scored doing it.

Simple observation. Bigger problems all over with offense, But we seem to not even try in game adjustments.

A halfway decent OC would have noticed this quickly. Went 21 or 22 personnel and ran it down their throat. Unfortunately we have a simpleton as an OC who takes 15 seconds to get the play in and another 10 for motions and shifts only to run inside zone.

For a 1st post you know some good shite and hit the nail on the head. Are you Joe Burrows or Coach O in disguise?

It’s just criminal we didn’t even try. I think half the people on this board could draw up a few plays that would be successful.

If we like the pistol so much - have Berry coming down hill to the tackle. With 3 down lineman, you would think we get at least 5 yards every time until OM makes adjustments. Handing it off to an RB standing flat footed takes out the advantage of someone with that kind of acceleration
