Any recommendations for Dog Stand in Marsh.
Have had the MoMarsh stands, and frankly hate them. Legs are always stuck in mud and the aluminum legs are either snapping or breaking after one season.
Any input appreciated

I have always used a pirouge, pirouge used to carry decoys etc and then let dog sit in it when hunting

I have a big 2 person folding chair i bring. Dog sets up on that.
Places I hunt a bunch I've brought in a few pallets before, and staked them in just at the surface.
Pirogue or xl jet sled have worked decent as well.

This is what I have been doing--works well, but in the process dog soaks everything/fills it with water getting in and out repeatedly.
Had the MoMarsh until I got tired of legs snapping out. So went back to the trusty pirogue, but who knows--may stick with the ole pirogue.

I haven’t had problems with my momarsh but I use mine in a crawfish pond so I set it up next to the blind and leave it for several days at a time.
In the marsh we hunt, we’re always on an island or something. Usually I just make a hole in the blind for him but we’ve had dogs that sit outside the blind uncovered and it works just fine too.

There is no good solution for soft bottom marsh in my experience. If I'm in water, I just use the pirogue. If I'm in grassy marsh, the dog is either next to me or I remote sit her somewhere she can see the decoys. The MoMarsh stands are fine for what they are, but they can't hold up to marsh mud or saltwater.

I used the Avery dog stand when we hunted the marsh. I think it’s called the Ruff Stand. Sounds pretty similar to what you have been using. It had aluminum legs that folded underneath the base. Yes it would get stuck in the mud after the hunt damn near needing a winch to get it out and yes the legs rusted up even if you sprayed it off after every hunt, but it was the best option. Down and dirty hunts I used a big lawn chair like somebody else mentioned but usually the dog ended up sitting in water with that. Using a sled or a small boat just became too much of a pain dealing with getting them in and out.
