My doctor may put me on Jardiance due to only having one kidney. It is supposed to be great for long term kidney problems that may arise from only having one kidney.
I wondering if the few side affects of nausea, shakiness, dizziness, etc. is bad or just mild or non-existent for some. I'm sure I wouldn't mind how it effectively helps me lose weight, but I don't want to feel bad all day for the minor help long-term to my kidneys.

My mom is on Jardiance. She's sensitive to all kinds of meds and this doens't bother her, she had to try several to find one that didn't bug her.

Those are not common side affects for Jardiance. The most common are urinary Tract infection, Yeast infection, and upper respiratory tract infection. But not much more than the placebo. It’s great for chronic kidney disease. Look up the product insert online. At week 24 the average weight loss is 5.5lb. Not indicated for that but is a benefit. Also reduces blood pressure. Cardiovascular benefits as well.

I heard about the yeast and urinary tract infection, but was told these are rare in Men. This is the first I hear about respiratory tract infections. With me having an Immune deficiency (Stage IV kidney cancer), although being tumor free for over 3 years, I'm going to have to ask my doctor about this.

You should absolutely talk to your doctor about it first.

That's why I said in my original post:
