If tweet fails to load, click here. JUST IN: FBI Director Kash Patel says the FBI has uncovered a “nihilistic violent extremist” network called ‘764’ that is convincing children to mutilate themselves and take their own lives.
Horrific.
“Maybe most importantly, under the counterterrorism and domestic terrorism umbrella, are nihilist violent extremists and those that label themselves 764 who wish to go online and convince children to maim and mutilate themselves and commit su*cide.”
“We even stopped an individual in the 764 network who wanted to conspire to k*ll an adolescent girl. He is now in custody.

Last week. There are several splinter groups associated with 764. They are evil.

764 has been on the international and US law enforcement radar for a while. It didn't just pop up recently.
Here's a good collaborative article from Wired from last year about it.

I went down a rabbit hole a few months ago when this group was mentioned here in a thread. I bookmarked some articles, and the earliest mention about 764 from the FBI/US law enforcement in general seems to be in Sept. 2023. A felon in possession of a firearm arrest seems to be what first led them to the group.
They're no fricking good, that's for sure.
