The human brain develops slowly. First we learn recognition and basic motor skills, then things like communication, then socialization and finally in the late teens and early 20s we form an identity around critical thinking.

What Charlie and others finally realized is that Liberals took over academia to capture undeclared minds when they were most vulnerable to persuasion. They are soft shell crabs in the process of forming their hard exo-shell. That's why he was targeting and barnstorming colleges instead of claiming a cushy seat on Fox & Friends or some patronage job at a DC think tank.
