**New League - Sleeper Chopped (Guillotine) League** - Full

Anyone interested in a new league? Yeah, I know the season has started, but a Chopped League can start at any time.
What is a Chopped League? Maybe you've heard it called a guillotine league. Each week, the lowest scoring team is chopped, meaning their season is over, and their players are placed on waivers for everyone else to bid on.
You play until there is only one team left.
How do I join? Click this link and set up a team. LINK
Buy in? Since this would be most people's first chopped/guillotine league, we'll keep it cheap... $25
Payouts? Since we don't know how many teams we'll have, let's say 80% for 1st and 20% for 2nd.
Who do I pay? LINK
How many teams? Usually you base this type of league on how many weeks are left, so the max right now would be 17. We can, however do fewer teams and the league would end earlier. Let's guage interest and see where we are.
Scoring? Normal PPR
When is the draft? Again, let's guage the interest first. As soon as we get enough teams to be fun, we can set the draft date. Again, you can start these leagues anytime. Looking like some time between next Saturday and Wednesday.
Type of draft? Snake draft. We can determine a date or if we want a slow draft once we get some folks signed up.
Roster? 1 QB, 2 RB, 2WR, 1TE, 2Flex, 5 Bench (Kickers? We don't need no stinkin' kickers. Def either.)

I'm in if we do league safe and draft... from what I've heard about auctions, they take forever.

Bham, i would like to play and i am fine with venmo to you. Can you please explain how the bidding works for players as teams get eliminated? Any link so we could see how this works?
Also, am i correct that each week you are not playing against one specific team just the remainder of the field? Just do not want to be the lowest team?
What are the payouts normally?

They usually take 30 minutes to an hour longer, but they are fun and you have a chance to draft every player. Only 1 person in a snake draft gets that option.
That said, I need people, so if auction runs folks off, we do snake.

Bidding works just like any other FAAB system. I set us up with $1,000. The biggest difference is the quality of players you bid on. For instance, in my other Guillotine, the week 1 low scorer (sorry NoleMan 
) had Ja'Maar Chase, Tony Pollard, Ken Walker, etc. That league only has $250 in FAAB and Chase went for $175, the equivalent of $700 in this league

You are correct. There is no head to head. You are just trying to avoid being last. This is the anti-Ricky Bobby. If you ain't last, you're first.
The above statement also changes draft strategy a little. In regular fantasy, we look for upside players and like stacks. In guillotine, floor plays a bigger part. Of course you still want big weeks, but goose eggs will get you chopped.
I like payouts to reward the winner, rather than spreading the wealth too much. Since we don't yet know the # of teams, let's say 80% to 1st and 20% to 2nd. (added to OP)

Correct. K and Def cause too much variance for guillotine IMO. I don't even like them in regular fantasy.
