I do not understand how this is not criminal public corruption. How is it legal for a private organization to pay a government entity to comply with the private organizations will???
Let's flip the script. What if a private org paid a government to remove judges sentencing discretion and told the government to sentence everyone to the maximum sentence. Would that be legal? I think every civil right org would be filing lawsuits and Congress would be all up in arms.

I'd like to know exactly how that 3.3 million was dispersed.
In the link the McArthur Foundation gets all of it's money from other foundations. I'd like to know how much of this money is sourced back to taxpayers. I'd like to know who is putting their personal money into these foundations.
