Must have threatened an outright cut once he got healthy, and this still gives us an out to save the rest of the $10 mil if we decide to cut him after he comes off pup.

Don't know the salary cap situation but wonder if this has something to do with us signing a safety. Just weird timing

We have plenty of cap to sign a safety. This is just directly related to Hill, his age, his injury history, and how we can bring that $10 mil over to next year if we decide to cut him.

He can take a cut because of all that endorsement money he’s making with those lawyers
