I watched alot of teams last sat. and there were some good teams, I liked miami, FSU, SC and a few other but none of them seemed close in the amount of impact players. LSU on defense has Witt, Perkins, Delany, with woodlawn, haulcy and a couple others in contention. Then on offence there are athletes all over the place. Anderson, Barron, Green, Duram, and good QB in Nuss. Ut for example had maybe 1-2 guys on defense and 2 guys on offence in Baxter and Wingo with only Wingo being a big threat with explosive speed. Even OSU had maybe a simular level of athletes in the secondary and WR (a little bigger but not explosive/fast) but everywhere else LSU looked to have more dudes. Not saying we win every game but we have to be pretty tough to game plan against with that many explosive athletes.

USCe may have the top 3 in the conference in Sellers, Harbor and Stewart. Rest of roster is trash tho

I think Ohio State may have a solid defense.

If you didn’t know LSU’s roster would you have come to that conclusion just watching the first game as a casual fan? Other teams have really good players too.

Yeah, I didn't have any expectations going into the season.

THIS. A fan of a certain team will also see an above average player on their team as more of an impactful player than someone of the same caliber on another team that isnt a household name in my opinion.

Trying not to be biased but I'll take our three #1s over any team in the country. Nuss, Durham and Anderson. I think LSU has the top 3 combination...
