My dad was a huge Hank Thompson fan. I remember his only time going to Nashville, we went to the Hall of Fame in the old location up on Music Square. They had a pair of Hanks boots, with a Humpty Dumpty Heart design on them. I think it was Dad's favorite thing of everything we saw that trip.

I'm only one degree separated from Hank Thompson. My wife, before I knew her, was a close friend of Hank and his wife Ann. I did have the pleasure of knowing Ann Thompson before she passed away a couple of years ago. The wife and I along with many of Ann's friends at a party at her house a few months before she passed away.Ann is in blue on the left side of the pic.
