issues. I’m not saying they don’t have some issues but it was always the Dline playing so well in practice. They handled business when they needed to and played much better in the second half opening lanes and short yardage plays. Proud of them. Getting Braelin Moore in the portal was a huge piece.

Maybe .. I think we ran a lot of short passes to help the OL be successful. I think they may need more time to gel but in the long run I believe we'll be good.

In this case it was definitely an iron sharpening iron scenario as opposed to major deficiency being exploited. Nuss had a clean pocket for a majority of passing downs and they blitzed a lot. When Clemson realized they couldn’t get there they started to drop 6-7 and they still couldn’t stop us. Nearly all stalled drives were a result of turnovers, refs, or play calling. Would have liked to see more inside slants & TE up the seam.

Our DLine is straight up nasty. They couldn’t run the ball nearly at all and rarely had a clean pocket. Would have like a little more pressure from our DTs but they played well enough to cause problems. Could also have been gameplan to stay home and let DEs & LBs pursue. Hard to know without being in the locker room.
